Up and Coming Weeks

With the end of the 3rd 9 weeks coming to an end things are getting even busier. The 7th grade we are rapping up the Unit on Percent "chapter 6",  we still have 2 hard units to complete plus preparing for TCAP's.  In the 8th grade we have just begun Unit 7 "two-three dimensional objects".  Plus getting ready for TCAP review.

Both grades the up and coming weeks are going to be busy before spring break stay focused.

Week of Feb. 10-14

We have come a long way and still have a lot to accomplish before its the end of the year.  Everyone will be testing the CRA phase II this Wednesday the 12th. For 8th grade we begin Unit 7 which is about angles and triangles.

For the 7th grade we are continuing Unit 6 on percentages.  We still have a little ways to go before we finish it up.  Keep plugging along and stay focused.

For the 8th grade we have begun Unit 7 on angles.  Make sure you come to class prepared everyday.

Hey 8th graders I have had a request for a video example of one of the problems from your homework.  The video is of problem 2 on the back.  If you have any questions email me or get with me in class.

Make sure you're prepared.

Tips to make the 2nd part of your year successful.
1. Be prepared for class everyday.
2. Need to spend time outside of the classroom on studying.
3. Need help, you need to ask for it.

Mid terms are almost here. Starting Monday the 16th for my 7th & 8th grade classes you need to start studying all notes and examples from textbook that we have done so far.  You will see a new tab at the top "Mid Term" of blog for some help on topics.  We will be going over all problems that you will see on the test but its still your responsibility to study what you have accomplished so far.
